Nomisphoto is a website created as a portfolio for photographs taken by Simon Trelfa. That’s me over there (this photo was taken in Whitby in 2013 and I have much less hair now) =>
I’ve always enjoyed taking photographs. On film when I was a kid and at college and on digital now. In fact when I first started using a digital camera I didn’t think I would like it. But now I can’t believe how much I enjoy it.
In the last couple of years I have taken photographs in – amongst other places – Derbyshire, Whitby, Birmingham, Norfolk, and Kos and Corfu in Greece – in fact everywhere I go I think I take at least one photograph.
My favourite subject matter for photographs is buildings as well nature and I have a special liking for graffiti. Graffiti is something that comes and goes. Most people don’t like it but I think that some of it is beautiful. I would like to capture as much graffiti as I can before it disappears under the cloud of a council workman’s steam cleaner.
